My first blog post on this platform was on 8 March 2004. It's a quote from T.S. Eliot's brilliant The Waste Land (listen to audio version). I chose that quote because I wanted this blog to be a linklog like Jeremy Zawodny's, collecting fragments that washed upon my shore while browsing.
It changed a couple of times since then, adding tags and titles and images and optimising for search engines (tnx Bart) as we went. I still enjoy blogging just as much as I did on the first day. And the good thing is now I could actually wear a t-shirt saying "I was blogging this shit back in 2004" (idea originally from Hugh MacLeod) for real. Today I'm wearing the one in the picture instead: it's a present from gentleman-bloggers Frédéric and Peter.
